Use the Policy Schedule page to view a policy schedule or to choose to override a policy package schedule with a policy schedule.
Policy Schedule Type
Select a schedule type from the Policy Schedule Type drop-down list. The following
schedule types are available for both User and Workstation packages:
Package Schedule
Select Package Schedule to schedule this policy according to the schedule of the package that contains this policy. You can view the package's policy schedule in the area below the drop-down list.Event
Select Event to schedule this policy to run when certain events occur. Choose an event from the Run This Policy When the Following Event Happens drop-down list. You can view the description of each available event in the Description box.Scheduled actions do not apply to Terminal Server sessions; only those policies that run before the Terminal Server's desktop is started apply to Terminal Server sessions.
If you select the Event schedule type and then select User Logout or System Shutdown, be aware that some scheduled actions cannot occur before the user is logged out or the system shuts down. If actions that are scheduled at User Logout or System Shutdown do not function as expected, try changing the schedule to another event.
If necessary, click Advanced Settings to display the Advanced Schedule dialog box to set Completion, Fault, Impersonation, Persistence, Priority, and Time Limit options.
Daily
Select Daily to schedule this policy to run on a daily basis.Select The Days on Which You Want the Policy Run
Select the days when you want to run this policy.Start Time
Click the clock icon to choose the beginning of the period in which to run the policy.End Time
Click the clock icon to choose the end of the period in which to run the policy.Randomly Dispatch Policy During Time Period
Click the check box to schedule the policy to run randomly during the time period you specify.Repeat the Action Every
Click the check box to repeat the action according to the schedule you specify in the Hours, Minutes, and Seconds boxes.If necessary, click Advanced Settings to display the Advanced Schedule dialog box to set Completion, Fault, Impersonation, Persistence, Priority, and Time Limit options.
Weekly
Select Weekly to schedule this policy to run on certain days of the week.Select The Days on Which You Want the Policy Run
Select the days when you want to run this policy.Start Time
Click the clock icon to choose the beginning of the period in which to run the policy.End Time
Click the clock icon to choose the end of the period in which to run the policy.Randomly Dispatch Policy During Time Period
Click the check box to schedule the policy to run randomly during the time period you specify.If necessary, click Advanced Settings to display the Advanced Schedule dialog box to set Completion, Fault, Impersonation, Persistence, Priority, and Time Limit options.
Monthly
Select Monthly to schedule this policy to run on certain days of the month.Select A Day in the Month for the Policy to Run
Select the day when you want to run this policy. You can schedule the policy to run on a certain day of the month or on the last day of the month.Start Time
Click the clock icon to choose the beginning of the period in which to run the policy.End Time
Click the clock icon to choose the end of the period in which to run the policy.Randomly Dispatch Policy During Time Period

Yearly
Select Yearly to schedule this policy to run on a certain day of the year.Select The Day of the Year You Want the Policy to Run On
Click the calendar button to choose the day when you want to run this policy.Start Time
Click the clock icon to choose the beginning of the period in which to run the policy.End Time
Click the clock icon to choose the end of the period in which to run the policy.Randomly Dispatch Policy During Time Period
