This page for the Desktop Preferences tab displays icons matching the equivalent desktop features in Windows* /98/NT/2000/XP.

Click an icon to display a dialog box that shows the options available for each feature. See your Windows documentation for help on these features and their options.

Always Update Desktop Settings on eDirectory Authentication
Enable this option to update the user's desktop settings when the user is authenticated to Novell^® eDirectory^TM.
