Use this page to configure settings to determine whether or not dialog boxes display on the computer that associated handheld devices synchronize with (sync machines). These dialog boxes display before and after files contained in this Handheld Application object are installed.

The settings on this dialog box are only available if you are installing a Handheld Application object to a temporary location on a sync machine.

Show Status Dialogs on Desktop Sync Machine
Select this option if you want dialog boxes to display on sync machines before or after application files are installed.

Before Dialog
If you selected Show Status Dialogs on Desktop Sync Machine, a dialog box displays on the sync machine when the application is ready to be installed.

Type any additional text that you want to display in the dialog box. Any information that you type in the text field appears in the dialog box that displays on the sync machine before the files are installed. You can use this text to provide any additional information or instructions that you want users to see before the files are installed.

Automatically Close Dialog and Begin Installation After _ Minutes
Select this option, then specify the number of minutes that you want to wait before installing the files. Using this option will enable installation of the files even if the user is away from his or her desk when the files are ready to be installed.

After Dialog
If you selected Show Status Dialogs on Desktop Sync Machine, an Installation Complete dialog box will display on the sync machine after the application is installed.

Type any additional text that you want to display in the dialog box. Any information that you type in the text field appears in the dialog box that displays on the sync machine after the files are installed. You can use this text to provide any additional information or instructions that you want users to see after the files are installed.

Automatically Close Dialog After _ Minutes
Select this option, then specify the number of minutes that you want to wait before closing the Installation Complete dialog box.
