Use this page to specify the source files to be included in this Handheld Application object and to specify the destination location for the files. You can choose to install this Handheld Application object on associated Windows* CE devices, Palm* OS* devices, RIM* BlackBerry* devices, or to a temporary location on Windows machines that associated devices synchronize with.

Specify the files that should be included in this Handheld Application object.
If you want to access application data on a NetWare® volume, you must install the Novell® ClientTM on the ZENworks® Handheld Management Server and configure NetWare access during installation.

Displays the path to the files you want to include in this Handheld Application object.Subdir
Indicates whether you want to include files in subdirectories of this path in this Handheld Application object.Files
Displays the files to be included in this Handheld Application object.Add
Displays the Add Files dialog box. Type or browse to the path that includes the files you want to include in this Handheld Application object, type or browse to the files you want to include, select Include Subdirectories of This Path (if desired), then click OK.You can use wildcard characters to specify the source files.
Edit
Displays the Edit Files dialog box for the selected source files. You can change the path, files, or subdirectory options.Delete
Deletes the selected files from the Handheld Application object.
Copy the Files to a Windows CE Device
Select this option to install files to a Windows CE device. Only valid files for the associated Windows CE device will be installed.Path Name
Type the path to the directory on the Windows CE device where you want the source files installed.Copy the Files to a Palm Device
Select this option to install files to a Palm OS device.Install Files on Storage Card
Select this option to install the files on a Palm OS storage device.ZENworks Handheld Management supports expansion cards in Palm OS devices running Palm OS 4.x and newer. Expansion cards are usually referred to as secure digital (SD) cards or memory sticks.
If you select the Install Files on Storage Card option, ZENworks Handheld Management will install the files only to a storage card. If the storage card is not available, the installation will fail; ZENworks Handheld Management will not install the files in the Palm OS device's main memory.
Copy the Files to a RIM BlackBerry Device
Select this option to install files to a RIM BlackBerry device. The files will be copied to the sync machine and queued in the appropriate directory for installation by the BlackBerry Application Loader.You can specify whether or not dialog boxes display when files contained in this Handheld Application object are installed on machines that associated BlackBerry devices synchronize with. For example, you could display a message on the sync machine to inform users that files have been queued and they should run the BlackBerry Application Loader. Click the Display tab to configure these settings.
Copy the Files to a Temporary Location on the Sync Machine
Select this option to copy the files to a temporary location on the machines that associated handheld devices synchronize with.Some applications require running Windows desktop routines before installation on Windows CE devices. If this is the case, select this option so that users can run those routines before installing files on the handheld device. The iPAQ* ROM update is an example of an application that you would use this option for.
Command
Enter the command you want to run with the source files. For example, you could enter setup.exe -s so that after the files are copied to the temporary location on the sync machine, setup.exe will be executed in a silent mode.Fail Installation if Command Reports Failure
Select this option is you want to stop the installation of this Handheld Application object if the command reports a failure.You can specify whether or not dialog boxes display when files contained in this Handheld Application object are installed on machines that associated devices synchronize with. Click the Display tab to configure these settings.
NOTE: If a Handheld Application object being copied to a Palm OS or BlackBerry device contains a file that already exists on the device, ZENworks Handheld Management will overwrite the file on the device with the file contained in the Handheld Application object. For Windows CE devices and sync machines, if a Handheld Application object being copied to a device or machine contains a file that already exists in the destination path, ZENworks Handheld Management will overwrite the file at the target location with the file contained in the Handheld Application object.
If a file is in use on a handheld device or sync machine when a Handheld Application object that contains the same file is being installed, the distribution will fail. If you enable automatic updates for the Handheld Application object, the device will receive the distribution at its next scheduled time, providing that the file is not is use at that time. If the Handheld Application object is scheduled to run only one time, you must resend it when the file is not in use.
