Lets you add a description to a Handheld Application object and specify the date and time that you want the object to become available for installation or to no longer be available for installation.

Availability

Available Beginning
Specify the date and time that the Handheld Application object will become available for installation. By default, the date and time that the application will become available is the date and time when you created the Handheld Application object. If you do not change the date and time, the object will be immediately available and will be installed according to the package schedule. This option lets you delay installation to the date you specify. Click the Calendar/Clock button to specify the desired date and time.

Expires On
Select this option to specify the date and time that the Handheld Application object will no longer be available for installation. Click the Calendar/Clock button to specify the desired date and time.

Installation

Do Not Install Before
Select this option to specify the date and time when you want to install the Handheld Application object files (configured in Handheld Application object's Files tab) on the device. Click the Calendar/Clock button to specify the desired date and time.

By default, the date and time is the date and time specified in the Available Beginning option. If you specify a date or time later than the current date and time, the application object files will be immediately deployed on the device but installed at the specified date and time.

If you do not configure this option, the files will be installed when they are sent to the device.
