Use this page to specify whether the selected ZENworks® Handheld Management Handheld Group object is a static or a query-based group and to specify the interval when the group is updated.
ZENworks Handheld Management provides two types of user-created groups:
Static Group - Members Updated Manually
Select this option to create a static group so that you can manually assign members using the Members page.Query-Based Group - Members Updated From a Query
Select this option to create a query-based group based on a query that you have previously set up in the ZENworks Handheld Management Inventory Viewer.To open the Inventory Viewer: in ConsoleOne®, right-click a handheld device object, click Actions, then click Inventory. To create a query, click Queries, then click Add Query.
To create a new query-based group in ConsoleOne: while creating a group, select the Query-Based Group option, browse for a query, then click Add.

Browse to and select the ZENworks Handheld Management Service object.Query Name
Browse to and select a query that you have previously set up.Group Update Interval
Choose the interval when the group membership will be updated.Last UpdatedUse the Default Server Schedule
Select this option if you want to update the group based on the default server's schedule.The group will be populated with handheld device objects during the servers next maintenance scan, which is hourly, by default. You can change the schedule for the server's maintenance scan by editing the settings of the ZENworks Handheld Management Service object.
You can force an immediate update of a specific query-based group. In ConsoleOne, right-click the ZENworks Handheld Management Service object, click Actions, then click Scan Now to perform a directory scan. Next, right-click the desired Handheld Group object, click Actions, then click Update.
Use a Custom Update Schedule
Select this option if you want to specify a custom update schedule that is different than the default server's schedule.
Displays the date and time that the query was last run to update members of this query-based group..
