Use this page to specify which applications you want to allow on Palm* OS* devices configured in the policy, and which applications you want to automatically remove from the devices.
Applications to Allow on the Handheld or Remove from the Handheld
Lets you specify applications and assign either a Remove or Allow rule for each
application.
The name of the application must match the file properties name (the name displayed in the Application Launcher screen may not be the actual filename). To determine the actual filename, you might need a third-party application (such as FileZ, a shareware application).
Application
Lists the applications that you want to allow on the device or remove from the device. To add an application to the list, click Add.Rule
Displays the rule for the corresponding application: Allow or Remove.
You can perform the following tasks in this page:
Adding an Application to the Application List
Deleting an Application from the List
Note: If you browsed application inventory when you added applications to the Application list, some listed applications may reside in ROM; you cannot delete applications from ROM.
Removing All Other Applications from the Handheld
Rather than selecting certain applications to be removed from the device, you
might find it easier to do the following:
When the policy reaches its scheduled run time or when the user synchronizes the device, all applications not listed in the Applications list with the Allow rule set will be removed from the device.
Searching for Applications on Storage Cards
ZENworks Handheld Management supports storage cards in Palm OS devices running Palm OS 4.x and newer. Storage cards are usually referred to as secure digital (SD) cards, expansion cards, or memory sticks.
