Use this page to view which Access Point machines are registered to the selected ZENworks® Handheld Management Installation Server.
The Access Point runs on any computer running Windows NT and above. The Access Point handles client connections, manages package delivery, monitors package distributions sent by the ZENworks Handheld Management Server, and sends the results of those distributions back to the server.
Machine Name
Lists the Access Point machines that are currently registered with the selected
ZENworks Handheld Management Installation Server.
Product Version
Lists the version of the ZENworks Handheld Management Access Point that is running on each machine.
IP Address
List the IP address of each Access Point machine.
Last Connection
Lists the date and time that the Access Point machine last connected to the
ZENworks Handheld Management Installation Server.
You can force an immediate connection to the ZENworks Handheld Management Server using the ZENworks Handheld Management Console on the Access Point machine. To force an immediate connection to the ZENworks Handheld Management Server, from the Access Point installation directory (by default \program files\novell\zfhap), run console.exe, click Operations, then click Connect to Server.
Status
Displays the status of the connection between ConsoleOne®
and the ZENworks Handheld Management Installation Service object. The Status
field will display the following messages: Connecting to server, Reading data,
and Work completed.
Delete
Deletes the selected Access Point.
Refresh
Refreshes the information on the Access Points page.
