Use this page to view which proxy service machines are registered to the selected ZENworks® Handheld Management Installation Service object.
In this release of ZENworks Handheld Management, the proxy service was replaced with the Access Point. If you have upgraded from a previous version, this page displays information about the proxy service machines in your previous installation that have not been upgraded to the current version. After these machines are upgraded, they become either Access Point or Desktop Synchronization machines.
The proxy service runs on any computer running Windows* 95 and above. The proxy service manages package delivery, monitors package distributions sent by the ZENworks Handheld Management Server, and sends the results of those distributions back to the server.
