User Authentication

Use this page to enable user authentication on a global basis for all handheld devices in your ZENworks^® Handheld Management system.

If you do not want to enable user authentication for all handheld devices in your system, you can choose to not enable global user authentication during installation or by editing the ZENworks Handheld Management Service object properties on this page. You can then configure and enable the Palm* Client Configuration or WinCE Client Configuration policy to target only specific handheld devices or groups of handheld devices.

Enable User Authentication on Handhelds
Enable this check box to globally enable user authentication on handheld devices in your system.

Search These Containers to Authenticate Handheld User Credentials
Displays the containers that ZENworks Handheld Management should search when authenticating user credentials.

Details
Displays the selected container's properties.

Add
Lets you add a container to the list that ZENworks Handheld Management will search when authenticating user credentials.

Delete
Lets you delete the selected container from the list box.
