Use this page to specify which programs you want to include on the Start Menu (on a Pocket PC) or on the desktop (on a handheld PC). The settings on this page will ensure that Windows* CE devices in your organization have a similar configuration, which will help reduce support costs and provide consistency for your handheld devices.
Programs to Include on the Start Menu (PPC)/Desktop (HPC)
Lets you specify programs to include on the Start menu of Pocket PCs and on
the desktop of handheld PCs.
Shortcut Name
Lists the programs that you want to include on the Start menu/desktop. To add a program to the list, click Add.Target
Lists the path to the program's executable file.

Adding a Program to the Shortcut Name List
Note: If you specify a shortcut name that already exists on the device, the new name will replace the old name. For example, if you have an existing program with Calendar as the Shortcut Name and you add another program using Calendar as the Shortcut Name, Calendar will point to the new program.

Rather than selecting certain programs to be removed from the device's Start
menu/desktop, you might find it easier to do the following:
When the policy reaches its scheduled run time or when the user synchronizes the device, all programs not listed in the Shortcut Name list will be removed from the device's Start menu/desktop to the Programs folder.
Hiding All Items in the Programs Folder
To hides the name and icon of all programs in the Programs folder:
