Hardware Scan

Use this property page to configure the Hardware Scan settings of the Server Inventory policy.

Hardware Scan Configuration

Enable DMI Scan
Enables Desktop Management Interface (DMI) scanning for the inventoried servers associated with the Inventory policy. The scan programs collect DMI information for an inventoried server only if this option is enabled.

Enable WMI Scan
Enables Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) scanning for the inventoried servers associated with the Inventory policy. The scan programs collect WMI information for an inventoried server only if this option is enabled.
