To position and resize objects by guidelines
- "Snatching" the object
First, select the object you want to resize or move by the guideline.
Move or resize this object until it's border touches a guideline. This should enable
the guideline to "snatch" the object. You will know you have successfully
done this if the guideline and border intersection are red. The same object can have
another guideline as well as on its opposite border.
- Moving and positioning objects
Once the object is snatched by one guideline, you can drag the Guideline
Handle icon to move your object.
- Resizing objects
If an object is "snatched" by two
vertical or horizontal guidelines, you can resize the object by moving one of the
guidelines.
