Arranging toolbars

JReport has a pair of toolbars.  The Standard Toolbar is the top bar that contains basic features such as File, Open, Save, etc.  The Edit Toolbar is the bottom bar that allows you to edit queries, summaries, formulas, etc.  Both toolbars can be arranged in different positions or can be changed into floating palettes.

Moving the toolbars:
To move the toolbars, right click on either toolbar.  A pop-up menu will appear.  This menu gives you specific locations for the Standard toolbar   and Edit Toolbar.  You can place the toolbars on the top, far left, far right, or the bottom of the main window.  You also have the Visible and Floating option as well.

-Visible: Either the toolbar is seen or not seen.

-Floating: The toolbars are no longer attached to the main window.  You have the option of placing and moving them anywhere you like.

The toolbars can also be moved by double clicking an area on the toolbar.  This will turn the Floating option on.  You can also double click the toolbar again to set it back to its original position.

Toggling toolbar and status bar:

You can choose to show or hide the toolbars and status bar by using the commands in the View menu.  A check mark by the name means the bar is visible.
