Working Set

The Working Set menu is a listing of all the tables and fields you selected from the All Objects menu in the Data tab.  A Working Set can be given a name in the Query Name menu.

The fields and tables selected here can be accessed later in your report by the

• Catalog Browser
• menu command Insert/DBField
• or the DBField icon in the Edit Toolbar. 

By placing fields in the Working Set you can later

• add and display those fields you selected from your report
• use specific formulas and summaries that require those specific fields.

How to edit the Working Set from your report

• Menu: Click on File/Open Working Set
• Standard Toolbar: Click on the icon in the Standard Toolbar.
  
  
  This icon takes you to the Working Set menu which contains both the Data and the Query tab.  This feature allows you to place more tables and fields into the current Working Set.
